My talk from @DeveloperWeek 2020 is now online! 🙌
The key message: "Software development is just as much about people as it is about code and systems"

I'm writing a book about #datascience and #machinelearning infrastructure based on my experiences at Netflix and earlier companies. The book uses #metaflow to demonstrate the concepts but it is not exclusive to Metaflow. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
A lot of best practices for code reviews focus on what the reviewer should do. What about the author?
My newest blog post shares techniques for improving code reviews when you're the author. https://t.co/fOYerabmy7

One of our engineers, @kylestetz, has a saying: "A picture is worth a thousand words; a prototype is worth a thousand meetings."
He wrote about it, so that you too can stop having meetings that should have been a prototype: https://t.co/lRBKZLPdHy
Big news: I'm speaking at @DeveloperWeek next week! 🎉
This talk brings together two of my passions in life: Music and teamwork. I'm humbled and excited for this opportunity to share my perspective in front of a large audience ✨ #DevWeek2020 https://t.co/wQPdbKXYd4
The most honest takeaway I have from building design systems is that there's no real magic here. Systems are just a reflection of your organization's ability to decide on a single answer across disparate groups.
Components are easy, collaboration is hard.
Today’s my big day! Later is now ready to anyone to try 🍾
Do you work with #remote coworkers in different time zones? Or use Slack after hours? Send a message with “/later” and I’ll wait to deliver it until 9:00 AM in your recipient’s time zone.
