@DrNadolsky “In the old days, we fetched water from wells. Why do we need fancy plumbing?”
There’s actually some health benefits they say. It’s more sanitary.
“You’re a shill for big plumbing”
@DrNadolsky Managing weight with science isn’t cheating; it’s using the best tools available for a healthier life. Glp makes it easier yes but why not use your will power to be a better parent, spouse, friend, professional.
@ChaseYoDream247 Brutal. Well written post. Redemption opportunity unlocked. Stack and resist the urge to make it up on something riskier than bitcoin. That said, get some MSTR in a retirement acct ha. Next bear you’ll have to go hard brother.
@Moe_Shaltout@Ashton_1nvests I would say the fundamentals are its monetary properties. Ask why gold was money for 5k years. Then note that bitcoin has golds ability to hold value, with fiat moneys ability to transport it. Very hard to value when looked at through investing lens only.
@p1ckst3r@Ashton_1nvests You’re living through the transition from physical to digital value bud. Not sure you totally understand what’s going to happen over the next couple decades. I like Tesla too but this is once in a lifetime thing imo.
@RetirementRight This is decent logic. You’ll be glad you did if you can hold through the next bear market. Try to find a critic that can explain proof of work though. Btc is one of those things where there aren’t any informed critics.
@great_martis@__AceDigital__ 15 year structural adoption pattern but sounds like you’ve made up your mind. You can’t find a critic who has put in the hours though. Ask someone who says stuff like this to explain proof of work and the difficulty adjustment.
@VKodisvaran @mybitcoinquest Market also has a funny way of taking the opposite path when things feel euphoric and obvious. If you have money to gamble with, go for it.
@VKodisvaran @mybitcoinquest might work well. agree to some extent but most get wrecked. Choosing, exiting, timing is tough. Also short term cap gains. Rotate at wrong time and you’re underwater with a massive tax hit. Take the gtd btc returns man. Speaking From experience.
Sometimes I pause and reflect on the fact that my entire financial portfolio is currently composed of 1) an imaginary Internet ponzi coin and 2) the stock of a company famous for having the largest peak-to-trough drawdown in the history of financial market bubbles, and whose CEO is currently leveraged to the tits on the same Internet Ponzi coin (which he refers to as “the goddess of truth”), and that I consider this a sound financial strategy with a virtually 100% chance of retiring my bloodline.
@mybitcoinquest If it was me I would snowball the high interest debt. After that you’re going to have breathing room. Meanwhile get exposure in your retirement acct. once cc debt gone, DCA what you can. Fomo is brutal but stay humble/stack sats. Prep for next bear and crush it.
@VKodisvaran @mybitcoinquest Please don’t do this brother. First paragraph is solid. You get 10% of your paycheck into bitcoin going forward and you’re going to make it. Fomo, gambling, greed no good. Some MSTR in retirement acct asap reasonable though.
@WaterHodl @alanknit@saylor There’s plenty of YouTube videos. Enable options in your brokerage. Instead of buying call options, sell them. Its a conservative strategy. You’ll cap upside but can be a useful tool. Remember tax implications though. They are short term gains and taxed as income
