Go back to a year when in your mind Haiti had a functioning government and compare those stats. Jamaica has been more dangerous than Haiti for fifty years.

Jamaicans talk about Haiti like it’s Hades meanwhile we have had more violent crime for decades straight. Very few parts of the Caribbean have ever been as dangerous as Jamaica for any extended period of time.

Car before house makes sense if you’re using the car to make more money or save time. Only conversation to have is how much of a person’s income is reasonable to spend on the car.
