@Michaeldudufudu Which comes about as a reaction against hyper-secularism and the modern status quo, whereas (and I hate this word but anyhow) "woke" and secularist worldviews have become the mainstream
@pawelwargan The reason the answer is no is because developed economies grow slower. They are now at the technological frontier so the game of catch-up is over. China is set to reach the finishing line in the game of catch-up. The USSR did this in the '50s and '60s in a different context.
@pawelwargan Also it's worth mentioning that national development generally begins to stagnate at a certain point. South Korea, Singapore, Great Britain, Japan, Ireland, the United States, and Argentina all saw massive economic growth at certain points in time. Do they see the same today? No.
@SaddamTransfem It worked to the point of forcing them into complete economic autarky, becoming a pariah state alongside Weimar Germany in the early-to-mid 1920s, and it wasn't until the '80s and '90s that Russia would begin to settle its inherited debt (...so they still paid in the end...)
@NotWarrior_Z@hilosfemi2 Whether itโs real or not doesn't matter, you can indicate something through its reversal, you can indicate something through metaphorization, something can be emotionally true and not factually true, and the cultural sensitivity surrounding confronting Islam is very much true.
@OneMrUsername@hilosfemi2 I hate this form of "oppression" discourse. You could argue that Muslims are the "oppressors" (even though it means nothing to me) because they "oppressed" Greeks, Druze, Armenians, Copts, Berbers, Yazidis, Assyrians, Kurds, and a number of other ethnic/religious groups.
@ayo_platano Nowadays Haitian militias raid aid deposits and clinics so that impoverished black children end up dying diseased and malnourished. Then they got struck with an earthquake which killed a good chunk of the Haitian population. Haitians are stuck in a loop of killing eachother.
@Socdem_Michael You would not be pleased to learn most billionaires take your side, given that multinational NGOs lead by the ultra-wealthy financial elite such as George Soros and predatory multinational conglomerates lobby for increasing immigration and deregulating overseas labour laws.
@LozzaFox@HumzaYousaf You can hear the hatred in his voice. The hatred for the people he had ministership over. What a world we live in, where our countries are governed by people and parties who exist on a sort of pseudo-nationalist platform, but in reality, hate the nation and seek its destruction.
@I_amMukhtar It doesn't matter whether the "far-right" as you say, is one man, or two, or a hundred, or a thousand, their spirit and passion for their nation will always overcome the parasites who who labour for the destruction of our people.
@PaulDoherty___ The passion and spirit of the youth lies in the right, who have witnessed how your generation imposed the destruction of our homelands.
@eoin_murchu@fitzfromdublin "Your ancestors settled this land over a millennium ago during the late Bronze Age, so you're morally obliged to let in millions of culturally incompatible foreigners who want to see you ousted from your homes, today."
@ChristianHeiens Lenin spoke of this: "Labourers were losing their age-long faith in the permanence of the system which oppressed them and began, I shall not say to understand, but to sense the necessity for collective resistance, definitely abandoning their slavish submission to the authorities"
BREAKING: The UK is drafting a law to scan every photo, video and message on every phone in the country.
Tech CEOs who refuse to implement this could face up to 5 years in prison.
The proposal would force companies to build device level scanners that inspect content before encryption.
That means:
โข Every image scanned
โข Every message inspected
โข Every video analyzed
All directly on your phone.
Governments and companies pushing these safetyโ systems already have a terrible track record protecting user data.
Last month, Europeโs new age verification app, promoted as a way to "keep children safe," was hacked in under 2 minutes.
In another case, over 70,000 IDs and selfies linked to online verification systems were exposed in a major breach.
Now the UK wants even deeper access directly inside your device.
Once governments force surveillance tools into every phone, they can expand what gets monitored at any time.
@MorgothsReview Because these people see how the new "British" people are denigrating our history, demanding medieval-esque indulgences to pay atonement for our past, demanding that we surrender our homeland to them. They think if we pander and say "we are unlike the English!" they will skip us.
Today, the Migration Pact became law in the EU. It requires all member states to welcome migrants, under penalty of heavy fines & asset freezes. Its main goal is to shunt an estimated 70 million migrants over the next decade into Eastern Europe, the last bastion of our race...
@mehdirhasan What of all the children YOU'VE killed by not throwing your money at them? Think of how many thousands of people have died because YOU couldn't spare some money for them... you're basically Hitler at that point...
