Just imagine if the government could not send money to other countries for endless wars unless we cut something else. Not because they didn’t want to, but because they were out of money to spend.

The only way to get more money would be to take it from the American people on their taxes. I bet we would all take voting a little more seriously if our representatives had to be responsible with our money for once and couldn’t overspend without it coming out of our pockets.

"Hoarding" is a Keynesian slur that is used to trick people into believing that saving their money in an attempt to give themselves optionality in the future is a bad thing. When in reality the exact opposite is true. It is a very good thing. Keynesian policy is the actual scourage on the planet. It takes away the individual's ability to effectively save their purchasing power over time, which reduces the optionality they have in the future. That reduced optionality leads to enormous stress and dispair for the Common Man.

You can believe whatever you want to about Elon Musk, but there are some things that are just facts

He could have taken his billions and rode off into the sunset years ago, but he chooses to sacrifice for the greater good of humanity daily

He could have leaned into the dark side and been a negative to society given his brutal childhood, but he chose to harness it and overcome it, using it as fuel

He didn't have to risk his personal fortune on numerous occasions to start companies that very few believed in that millions are now benefitting from today $TSLA

He didn't have to buy Twitter to empty out the cesspool and put an end to censorship, fighting for free speech

He doesn't have to internalize the burden of the risks of AI to humanity, but he spends time, money and emotional energy figuring out ways to ensure AI is safe and does not become the downfall of humanity

It seems clear to me that Elon was built for such a time as this, and despite wrestling with demons and having flaws (like all of us), to not appreciate or at least recognize the sacrifices he's made is disingenuous

Just want to say thanks, @elonmusk for fighting to make the world a better place and inspiring many others to do the same 🫡

Obviously, if given the choice between juice & water, my kids would choose juice.

Juice is expensive so when they were young, I would mix in about 25% water.

As time went on, I went to 50% with no complaints.

Then I went to 75% and to my surprise, still no complaints.

As long as they were given the choice between juice & water, they didn’t care what the juice tasted like, they just didn’t want water.

I started buying the darkest juice I could find and giving them 10% juice and it worked… for a while.

Today they called me out. 😬

2% inflation is the Fed’s target so that they can dilute our purchasing power without it being obvious.

They got greedy.
