@yvonnedeal@MedleyTrey It’s fascinating how everyone has a different perspective and comfortability. My knee jerk is that the choir was trying to be a “blessing” and invite people in and the group of youth with a guitar were trying to “stand out” and “othering” those that weren’t part.
@rosskingmusic @eji_org Have you heard Malcolm Gladwell’s revisionist history on this story? Incredibly moving. He says “we never should have led with our children”. I think of that every time I see this picture.
@rosskingmusic @kurtmwagner@ExaminingMoscow @rosskingmusic can you help me understand why do you say the left is more critical of interracial adoption? I’m not disagreeing (I have 2 adopted. 1 bi-racial). Not sure I understand. Big fan of your music btw!
I’ve never heard an American pointing to events in Nigeria or Indonesia as foretold in Revelation. It’s always stuff happening in America. It’s almost like we think we’re the lead character in God’s story. Almost.
@MattRogers_ Dang man! That’s on my short list. I’ve listened to a lot of her talks and interviews. Her stuff of hospitality is inspiring. I think we must be following a lot of the same people.
Practicing biblical hospitality is an untouched resource for bringing the gospel upstream in our polarized, post-Christian world.
