Anyone ever find out what happened to our £28,000,000,000 spent on Test & Trace which didn’t really work or the billions spent on PPE which had to be burnt because it was out of date or unsuitable? And what happened to the charming Michell Mone, still on her yacht?
This is a heartbreaking article and video of swifts unable to return to their nesting site because Surrey Council demolished the building, despite laws stating this is illegal.
Shameful and cruel. https://t.co/GJjOHJ1ESZ
Economist Mariana Mazzucato says Brexit led to businesses leaving the UK, shrank market opportunities and damaged investment.
She tells The Fourcast that Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson have still not been held accountable for what she calls one of the country's biggest economic mistakes.
Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson have both denied lying to the public.
In a shock development the BBC is actually asking questions about where Farage has received his funding. Rumours abound the Corporation has been uneasy for some time about the criticism it has received for its Farage coverage.
It beggars belief how many people would be prepared to vote for a party (I use the term loosely) without the first idea of what they stand for other than ‘Stop the boats’. 🤷♂️
Retweet far and wide.
Angela Rayner was dragged through every front page for weeks...
HMRC's verdict: NOT deliberate. NOT even careless.
Farage pockets £5 million and chooses not to declare it
So where's the wall-to-wall coverage?
Tell me this isn't a rigged game.
The British media is doing everything it can to make this mendacious, corrupt, incompetent, lazy, security risk the PM. Ask yourselves why? Why do they want that so badly, who benefits? It's not going to be the British people.
Follow the money, always follow the money.
Whatever complaints MPs have about Keir Starmer, they are now descending into the kind of headless chickenry that - whatever and whoever the outcome - will make the situation even worse for Labour. If there is a grand plan starring Catherine West and a few PPSs, then it doesn’t feel terribly thought through. A period of calm would do none of them any harm. The general election is a fair way off. The next legislative programme is about to be unveiled. There are better ways to reach such an important decision and better times too. You are MPs not commentators who exist to feed a frenzy.
This is a brilliant investigative piece on Farage, the dark millions behind him and the double standards of so much British journalism. Read and retweet! Nigel Farage pocketing £5m from a donor shows he’s unfit for power https://t.co/zHuVfDV8dh
Feargal Sharkey, "Water companies... The fines don't work, it's time we actually started upholding the law, and sending some of these executives and directors to jail"
Krishnan Guru-Murthy, "You think we should put them in jail?"
Feargal Sharkey, "If we put one water company boss in jail for six weeks the whole industry would transform itself"
I’m just watching Jenrick slagging off the conservatives and how they ruined the country and were useless with immigration.
He seems to have forgotten that until they kicked him out last year he was a the Conservative Minister of State for Immigration (2022–2023) 🤷
“Apparently there are still people who get a kick out of killing things and taking the lives of others, which is something I find incomprehensible” ~ Sir David Attenborough.
#DavidAttenborough 💯.
Hey Keir. You will never read this. I’m just a tiny press photog account. I’ll write it anyway. No, you shouldn’t resign. Yes, you should get on with the job you were elected for. But do meet with Greens & Libdems, they are not your enemy - fight together against the far right.
At what point do we stop pretending our newspapers are ‘news’ and start calling them what they are…
Promotional pamphlets for the billionaires who own them and the agendas they’re selling.
