@RWPopulism Idk if black beto will outfund cruz. Beto is a whole different animal. Cruz is the incumbent which typically gives you the funding advantage
@PresidentBlumph Only thing I’ve heard about with Lombardo so far is he was willing to negotiate on a abortion bill with Dems. Not super thrilled by that but what are you gonna do🤷♂️
@PresidentBlumph Yea I understand that. I feel like it’s the same thing going on with Youngkin in Virginia. And I’m a lil afraid of the possibility of them being popular due to them not being able to be as effective on their agendas. More so VA since it’s bluer.
@DominicAlbergh2 @Andrew94722910 Having a major funding disadvantage against a popular incumbent. He got the most votes per dollar ratio compared to every other senate candidate. Losing by 5 against kelly is a lot better than losing to fetterman by 5
@Samwiswe@lion_politics Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, New York, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Hawaii, Montana, both Dakotas, New Mexico, Mississippi, Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Maine 2nd District, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, have all moved right since Trump
@bigredpossum @Rob_E86@TheCalvinCooli1 You’re comparing a incumbent primary to an open one. No incumbent faces a tough primary. Trump is polling in the 60s as a non incumbent. Biden’s polling in the 70s as an incumbent. Trump is arguably doing better in his primary than biden
@RedNYPolitics My ideal tax would be no one making under $39K a year pay income tax. Minors don’t pay income tax. No consumption tax on groceries, meds, or any other necessities. No property taxes. 20% federal corporate tax. No fed income tax. Federal wealth tax for the mega m/billionaires
@RedNYPolitics I think corporate taxes should be a federal level thing and Income taxes should be a state level thing. America would be so much better if states self funded themselves. Only federal tax income that is needed for the military.
@McCormickforIN @Dillguy9 @ProgNewDealer No he didn’t it was a D+4.4 environment. 2016 was a D+2.1. Trump won Ohio the exact same margin in 2020 and 2016. That’s a 2.3% trend to the right.
@McCormickforIN @Dillguy9 @ProgNewDealer Only states moving to the left from 2020 are Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Maryland, Massachusetts and the rest of the states are going to move right from 2020. Biden will win the popular vote by 2% most likely and the electoral college is 50/50 slight Biden faved
