Forgot to tweet about my newest blog post, tried another open letter style (about skincare of course lol). Sharing advice my grandmother used to give me when I was young that I think everyone needs to know :)
@mayaelle10 Really relating to this tweet. When I get that notification that my screen time went up I get instant anxiety & stress & start feeling bad for the hours I’ve spent scrolling. Truth is that sometimes it’s the only activity that felt semi normal to me mid-pandemic. 🤷♀️ #315slides
@lrkavanagh27 Totally agree with this! A specific example that came to mind was Snapchat streaks, there was a point in high school when everyone was doing it then it turned into a thing people judged. I think doing whatever makes you happy is the way to go 😂
Had a stressful day so I did one of the guided meditations for week 7. Gonna try and bring meditation back into my daily routine. Can definitely say it helped 💆♀️🧘♀️🙏 #ccom315
I also feel that with the growth of zoom it’s kind of made face time less exciting too! Anything that requires that virtual face to face interaction takes so much more energy now than it ever did. 3/3 #zoomburnoutisreal
After reading a bit on “zoom burnout” I think back to the beginning of the pandemic when zoom was fun, funky and fresh. I was new to the zoom community and exploring my way through the online platform #ccom315slides 1/3
... now I feel like the features aren’t as exciting and the task of going on zoom feels like a chore at times. I find it so much more mentally exhausting to sit in a zoom lecture than in person. Maybe that’s because of the lack of stimulation? 2/3
