This growing definition will be helpful to me in the future because I need awareness in my classroom & hometown of all those who are excluded. My growth of including information (labels, signs, etc.) will open my eyes to see people who need including, too. #engl318mu

best part is the return to canva. When I'm not stuck by branding, canva is such a FUN tool! I missed it, and I'm glad to use it again just for fun in this class. #engl318mu

most difficult part is the "why this matters". In my understanding, it matters because people talk! it starts conversation! and communication is important for forever! but that's not enough for an academic perspective, of course. still learning! #engl318mu

I'm thinking about asking the research question, "What makes Instagram a great platform for this message?" #engl318mu Is this on the right track? Rn that lends itself to analyze audience and design. How can I refine this so that my question effectively makes use of my data?

Who are we? Pop in and tell me about yourself. So far I see mostly 18-25 year olds, almost all new to Twitter or using this platform in a new way. Most of us like Instagram best, but there's a range of Snapchatters and YouTubers and TikTokers too! #engl318mu

@npfannen @npfannen thanks! I think I'm going to pick a group of accounts outside of "teachergram", now! I made lists in my proposal of many different audiences, but ended up choosing a group of Bible commentators. I hope this works! #engl318mu

I plan to use a specific Instagram space, either theologians/Bible commentators, or middle school teachers, or maybe foster families. I follow a group of accounts in each of these categories already and I look forward to determining my place in each audience! #engl318mu

my definition of information so far - #engl318mu what can I do to refine this? It seems so dense that taking anything out would backfire, but maybe it's just that I'm missing something so that the less concise words *can* afford to go. >> "Most information... and sizes"

A humorous misuse of hashtags :) I asked my sister to borrow her running shorts on Saturday. I wanted to walk a 5k w/ friends. Before she left for work that morn, she left them by my bedroom door with this note. "here's the shorts, #crushbutt (walking)" So encouraging. #engl318mu

I noticed that most of my early (day 1) data was written text with words, and most data near the end (day 3) was colors, sizes, numbers, and a few words/phrases. Anyone find similar patterns as we expanded our definitions of information?? What patterns did you see, #engl318mu??
