In Aguata LGA, Impossibility is Nothing.
Did you know that when Bowen University was founded, a huge number of muslim students were sponsored by one rich Iwo indigene to buy the University's Entrance Forms, and after they secured their admission, they began to agitate for a mosque on campus and hijab for female students, etc
When they were turned down, they began to hold prayers on the school field in defiance
When the school authority protested, they started a riot.
I have never seen Christians going into muslim schools or companies or institutions and demanding that rules must be changed for them
They knew it was a Baptist University, they knew it was a Christian institution, and yet they did all that.
The Inaugural Vice-Chancellor of Bowen University, Professor J. T. Okedara, had to retire early because of the trouble these students gave him
It took the intervention of the Nigeria Baptist Convention and a change of Vice-Chancellor for these students to be rusticated and for peace to be restored.
I was reading the news about International School, Ibadan, and I can see the same spirit of disruption and troublemaking at work.
I have never seen bandits wearing cassocks, carrying Bibles and shouting Hallelujah as they behead people
It is a paradox that people practising a religion can be fomenting trouble without provocation all over the world and still claim that they are a religion of peace.
Indeed, there is a spirit at work in every human being based on the faith they embrace.
I took the boys and teachers to the Italian Parliament building in Rome, which is equivalent to the National Assembly in Nigeria.
The boys asked why everyone was walking freely and why the police were being so nice to us.
I told them that what you see in Nigerian government offices is Third World behavior.
If you’re leading your people well, nobody will want to kill you.
“Recently I Made a Video Rebuking Nigerian Pastor Adeboye Of RCCG For Defending President Tinubu’s Failure In Safeguarding Innocent Lives. Many Nigerians Have Slammed Me For Criticizing Their Papa. This Actually Opened My Eyes To a Major Issue In Nigeria. Why Do Nigerian Christians Idolize And Worship Their Pastors And Leaders? Why Are Nigerians Getting On Their Knees For Pastors, Especially Pastors Who Have Done Nothing For The Persecuted Church In Nigeria? They’ve Watched Innocent Christians Get Sl@ughtered.” ~ Alex Barbir
The Senate and House Reps wrote letters to a non existing agency!
Even got an office in the Federal Secretariat all without knowledge of the Government.
Please who told Bayo, Tinubu, and Femi Gbaja that we are this stupid? Because what is this damage control?
The longer Gbaja keep his job, the more complicit he is making the president look.
I know a neighbour who sells akara in my neighbourhood.
One day the poor husband died in a motor accident, and she became a widow.
About a year later we heard she built a house. It became the talk of the town that a woman built a house from akara business.
I became curious and got interested in the story. Fortunately I know one of his children who's a pastor.
One day we got talking, and the son told me they sold their late father's land, and used it to build the house for their mother.
This is how some false stories make their ways to public domain. Those who are not privileged to know this truth would continue to run with the false story that a woman built a house from akara business.
Don't believe every story you hear.
One day I will share a story of how the so called men in high places in Naija almost blocked our scholarship in 2016. They submitted over 100 names of their cousins and children (insider info). One AIT top guy was among them (let’s leave his name hidden).
The embassy got angry because it was hardcopy submission back then and told them to trash all the names and allow competent graduates submit application. Among all the graduates selected, na only me no know one single person in high place. Guess who came to bid us farewell at the embassy, all of them (I just dey look them with side eye 😒).
A visit to the Emir of Narasawa palace then, he even ask is this the Yoruba girl and he gave me 50k. One of us came from there 🤷
Just to give you a glimpse of how the rich will block all the road to a common man!
Mr Dipo, There's a reason every Akara sellers women work hard to train their kids with good education. There's a reason why she comes out everyday inside rain, inside sun.
Because she doesn't want her kids to end up like her.
Stop this nonsense bro, please stop...
