@alisonleary1 I was s discharge facilitator (R/N) in a large acute trust for 7 years . There were numerous times when I had to challenge certain discharge decisions- when I felt it was unsafe to discharge the patient at that point in time. I left a job I loved as it became so difficult.
@mancunianmedic I met him when they were filming something in Bath. All I can say is that I am not surprised. (My husband was with me at the time thankfully).
@mancunianmedic @ALouiseDavis In his later years my father would sometimes keep things in the fridge until mouldy. He was by no means poor.. it just took a concerned family - my sister and I -to keep an eye on him to minimise risks to his health.
@mancunianmedic It is also a symptom of the breakdown of community and family support in the uk. No one ‘dropping’ in to see the person and social isolation. ‘Home Alone’ .

@alisonleary1 Our NUH respiratory ANP’s/ACP’s are absolutely amazing and are integral/essential to the patients admitted under Respiratory Medicine @NUHRespACP They are highly skilled and trained. They recently delivered some education to us -lung cancer nurses about chest X-ray and CTAP.
