I am beginning to wonder whether it has genuinely occurred to political candidates that the U.K. may just be ready for some left wing policies after 14 years of being battered by Tory lies, criminal activity, corruption, bigotry and embarrassing ignorance.

A lot of politicians and media are constantly inundating us with scaremongering nonsense regarding socialism, human rights and “wokery”. What those words actually mean are a fairer, more equitable society, justice for all, a strong and dependable NHS, respect for the elderly and vulnerable and the right to protest against corrupt and disgusting government activity… not to mention cleaner, sewage free rivers, anti-racism and proper accountability.
