#Config2023 launches bridge the gap between design and development, all in Figma.
โ Dev Mode, a new space for developers
โ Variables
โ Advanced prototyping
โ Auto layout updates
โ Font picker
โ File browser redesign
Plus, we previewed the future of Figma with AI and announced the acquisition of @diagram. https://t.co/RB3qHFSSPz
Cute. I don't think this tone will work for just any product or company since we are all too cynical, but @figma is such a good product, that this tone works here well and makes me smile.
Well, didn't expect it to happen so soon - but sometimes life offers you cool opportunities that you just go for.
So here I go again, first week on a #newjob.
Happy to join @Microsoft ๐
(and the view is not too shabby either)
A great video by @theRazbuten about what games are like for non-gamers. There's a lot of #ux stuff that applies to #productdesign and the way we build products for new users.

@cool_idea@gongjoonamu Not sure what is was meant as, but I understood it as "You have resources to connect us to more females to diversify our team", which also makes this offer exploitative. ๐
Really good points and insights about #designprocess from @zecarlostorre in this great piece. And the illustrations are gold ๐

@AvivRubys By timezone, I meant the time representation of the user's local time.
According to what I read, UTC is actually the best practice for servers. Can't find anything regarding the UX of it ๐ค
Hey #uxdesign people. Which #timezone indication is better UX-wise? GMT or UTC? Specifically for US based users?
There isn't a consistency in the major calendars (Google Cal, Outlook, Apple Cal).
That concludes my 1st week at @ZoomInfo ๐
I forgot how both exhilarating and exhausting it is to start a new job. So much new information, so little brain-room.
Lucky for me, the people are really awesome, so as tiring as this week was, it was also super interesting & fun.
@cool_idea I have 2 based-on-nothing-concrete theories:
1. They finally have enough photos for ML training
2. They realized the current model is not sustainable anymore (especially since they allowed Pixel users to upload unlimited full-res media for 3 years from the device purchase).
Found a relic in the bottom of my old hard drive.
This is how hand off looked like before design systems and wonders like Sketch, Figma, XD, Zeplin and all their other magnificent friends.
