Dream team commentators @jsoverend @JohannaKonta @feliciano_lopez for the Medvedev V Rublev @usopen match. Knowledgable, insightful, thoughtful and wonderful chat. #usopen @SkySportsTennis

@vika7 what an epic match yesterday against @ElinaSvitolina you both played such amazing tennis, loved watching every minute. Shameful by the crowd at the end, I’m really sorry they treated you like that, when you being respectful of your opponents wishes.

@SkySportsF1 @SamRyderMusic Just when you think you couldn’t love @SamRyderMusic anymore, turns out he’s an F1 fan AND takes the time to have a great chat with Martin Brundle, #samryderisalegend

@feliciano_lopez is a fantastic addition to the @BBCSport #wimbledon2023 commentary team. Loving his knowledgable and intelligent chat, he’s current, charming and very likeable. Well done BEEB.

@Wimbledon @ElinaSvitolina Phenomenal match. Shame the crowd seemed to boo Azarenka - unfathomable as to why, both players played incredible tennis.

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@GreenRanger2014 @Wimbledon Been thinking the same, seems very slow doesn’t it.

[Dan Walker @mrdanwalker]

Special moment at #Glastonbury as the crowd help Lewis Capaldi ❤

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@Wimbledon Past, present or future? Pick one and do it justice rather than this muddled view! No @andy_murray - he’s been very good for Wimbledon and British tennis!! And the women are only worthy of the background?!?! You cannot be serious!!

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@sarajcox David Mitchell @RealDMitchell clever is very cool and definitely sexy.

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@DeborahMeaden This is indeed shameful. We’re suffering worker shortage, higher price inflation that continental Europe, long customs queues for passengers and freight and problems with the NI border - where are all those benefits of leaving that were promised?!

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@tompfoster @DeborahMeaden If you read and understand the detail, you’ll find it’s sent to France for dyeing because no UK based company is left with the specific capability to dye such delicate, handmade lace. So we’ve already killed off that industry and now we want to kill of the lacemaking too!

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

Oh dear ⁦⁦@LymeTC⁩ Whats wrong with you that you won’t support a great local business that’s working hard supporting other local businesses and economy. Shame on you council. https://t.co/x6uARhRipj

#HappyValley Not sure I took a breath for 70mins! Breathtaking, brilliant, emotional television. #BAFTA2023 surely!!

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

Son at Uni in Sheffield has found it’s cheaper to do a service wash in a local laundromat than use the uni washing machine facilities. Are our students being seen as cash cows?

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

Interesting @Telegraph @XantheClay article abt high prices in local/convenience stores owned by big supermarket chains like @Tesco & @sainsburys Often opened right by student campuses & so convenient for car less students. More evidence that students are being seen as cash cows.

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

Can we just forget this week and fast foreword to the final #HappyValley but can we also savour every moment and not let it end. Quite simply the best television programme.

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@jamieklingler @metpoliceuk Reading @Telegraph he was accused of ABH during his @metpoliceuk probation. So it seems like there was a missed opportunity to weed him out even then. Why they would want someone in their force who got himself in a situation where he’s even being accused of such a crime beats me.

[Julia Lake @juliaglake]

@wbuxtonofficial Proof, if it were needed please, that Max is petulant, spoilt and arrogant. He doesn’t speak the language of sportsmanship. Hardly surprising though, RBR just seem like that sort of team, with Horner the chief!
