Sad news to share - former BBC Spotlight weather presenter Craig Rich has died, after what his family described as “an amazing life”. He was the BBC's first regional weather forecaster starting in 1978 and stayed in that role for 25 years, much loved by the audience.

@SimonCalder so I’m looking at flights LHR to SFO for a family of 4 in August. Why is so much cheaper to fly from Paris than London? Not just @VirginAtlantic but for eg CDG-SFO-CDG €2451 for 4 (£2085) with one stop on return at LHR! the cheapest LHR-SFO-LHR same dates is £3782 .
