The Swiss population sends out a strong signal: the law for bringing the country to net zero emissions was accepted today!
What started with the #glacier initiative several years ago has now come to an end.
Very happy that the arguments of #climate science were heard!
@pghcaroline Re-reading @RosieSwalePope’s Little Run Around the World, about Rosie’s 5 years / 20,000 miles solo run, started aged 57. Now 75, she is mid another project to run to Nepal. Brilliant woman. https://t.co/AQak3jmyPN
@B1G_BAZ@AlexSprackland@Inge_V@Psycholoog_ME Alex didn’t get the jab. I didn’t either. Thousands of us got LC from Feb/Mar 2020 infections (documented) long before jabs were available. I preferred to not get the jab at all after my initial infection, in fear it would make LC worse. There are many like me.
@AlexSprackland@DivergentPrsptv Sorry you’re going through this Alex. Hope there’s some helpful answer from the medical community soon - we’ve been waiting long enough.
@helenpidd Thanks for sharing Helen. So much resonated w/ my own feelings/experience. But at almost 48, 5 years after my last failed pregnancy, I can finally say that I’m happy again (something I never thought would ever happen). Here’s to finding joy in this new set of circumstances.
@respphysio Sorry to hear Ruth. Sounds all too familiar. For me it passed after 2 weeks for the ‘acute/worrying’ phase, then settled a bit. I still have very occasional tachycardia/arrhythmia 3 years later, but having done all the tests I worry much less. Sending you positive thoughts x
@AlisaValdesRod1 Same with me. I’m the only ‘athlete’ in the family (mountain running) and the only one who developed LC. Thankfully I’m 80% recovered on my 3-year anniversary. Still no running, but can slow-hike again and go up in altitude (which used to trigger O2 desat until 18mths ago)
