@mrmacaroni@jidesanwoolu The man is old enough to be your father when you think you have something to call attention of people in government to present it like someone who came from good home
Is that how you complain to your father at home
@AfamDeluxo I can dm you the reason and I'll explain why I can't bring it up here because many won't believe it not to talk of accepting it. But it did happen and it's facts
The Most Powerful Speech By Onyeka Onwenu: “The Igbos Have Given So Much And Suffered So Much In Nigeria. We Have Been Treated So Unfairly. But They Can Never Defeat Us. Ndi Igbo Will Continue To Overcome And Stand Strong. We Will Never Bow For Anyone. Let The Igbos Go And Create Their Own Country (Biafra) If They’re Not Needed In Nigeria”.-Rest in Peace Onyeka Onwenu.
It’s So Sad And Heartbreaking To Lose Such a Great Icon And Personality At 72.
RIP Legend🕊️ 💔
I strongly believe that the best course of action for this administration, including the president and his advisors, is to retire and promptly hand over the government to Mr. Peter Obi. This would enable him to take full responsibility for all he is being accused of and also would be able to address the various challenges facing the nation. Anything short of this, and I am at a loss for words to describe the absurdity and ineptitude of the current regime.
It is clear that the current administration has failed to deliver on its promises and has instead plunged the country into chaos. The sooner they recognize their limitations and step aside, the better. Mr. Peter Obi has a proven track record of leadership and governance, and I have no doubt that he would bring the necessary expertise and vision to restore the country to its former envied glory and beyond.
Continuing on the current path only leads to more suffering and hardship for the masses. I implore the administration to do the honorable thing and hand over the reins to someone who is capable and competent. Mr. @PeterObi is that person, and I firmly believe that he would make a significant difference.
The current regime's inability to address the pressing issues facing the nation is a clear indication of their inadequacy. It's time for them to acknowledge their failures and make way for a new leader who can bring about real change. Mr. Peter Obi is the answer, and I strongly advise the administration to take the necessary steps to facilitate a smooth transition.
The President of the United States has set a commendable example by withdrawing from the presidential race. Now, it is your turn, officialABAT. Do the honorable thing and step down, allowing a capable leader to take the reins. Posterity will remember you fondly if you prioritize the nation's interests over personal ambitions. Nigeria is currently struggling, and it is essential to put the country's needs above individual desires. Follow POTUS's lead and do what's best for Nigeria.

In Nigeria, a person whose future was stolen by MKO Abiola will come here in 2024 - suffering from the poverty that Abiola engineered for him in 1984 - furiously defending the man's memory because he thinks his interests and MKO's interests are aligned.
In the same Nigeria, another person who went to school with MKO's grandchildren and grew up in ensconced in the socioeconomic stratum that escaped the effects of MKO's poverty-intensifying activities - or even benefitted from them indirectly - will come here and explain to the first person that MKO is one of the reasons for their poverty today.
The first person will then start bitterly arguing and hurling insults at the person who should actually have less of an incentive to even bother, because he somehow thinks that he and a billionaire somehow share something in common.
It's very fascinating to watch, and the more I see these strange phenomena, the more I understand why the British Navy had to send warships to fight actual wars to stop West Africa from selling more people after it had successfully spent 3 entire centuries cheerfully exporting kidnapped human beings in exchange for mirrors, umbrellas, corrugated roofing sheets and gin.
As a people, we need a psychiatric intervention.
Probably so touched deeply about Obi’s recent genuine outing on Arise TV, Global literature Giant Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie picks up her pen and crafts out this honest deep feelings on Peter Obi.
U could tell this came from her heart. ❤️💔😭

I used to vehemently stand against cancel culture and the tendency for large groups of people to de-finance, de-status, and deplatform "offending" people.
But I was not accounting for nuance. The type in play here. There's a huge contextual divide between social justice (ostracism) getting activated for a difference in opinion versus a difference in actual crime with victims who suffer loss, peace, stability and even death.
Naira Marley and his ilk (Zinoleesky, I see you) deserve his downfall. Not because he represents the worst of us via the messaging he propagates. Not for his rancid ideas, or his love for everything that darkens our social space.
He earned this one for mixing cultism with art, in a manner minting actual victims in his industry. Mohbad did nothing wrong except to ask for freedom to operate in the game, and express himself via his art. That was taken away, via systematic violence.
He earned this one for making a young man's life hell via physical violence, abuse and mental torture. For making wickedness so casual and callous, while trying to paint his victim as an irrational drug addict on a run from his demons.
Mohbad's death might have triggered Nigerians, but what sealed Naira Marley's faith is his blatant disrespect for our collective moral fibre. The entrenched belief that "nothing is that serious" over here, and a hit song is enough to paper over a loss.
Yes for many other infractions, Nigerians are likely to wave it away and negotiate their personal relationship with your music.
But this is beyond studio microphones, rhythms and playlist placements. It's fundamental to the Nigerian situation. It's oppressors Vs the oppressed. Predator Vs prey. Life and death.
Naira Marley miscalculated. And even now, he continues to mock and disregard our collective pain with his posture.
No we will not be Marlians. Neither will we stream your records. The damage you've done is enough. We no longer like you or the products of your imagination.
CHARLES ANIAGOLU: How would you assess Tinubu's one year in office.
PETER OBI: I think he has kept to his campaign promises to continue from where Buhari stopped. He has driven up food inflation, energy prices, & increased Nigeria's debts - >₦16 trillion. Tinubu has destroyed Nigerian economy, far below other African countries we were better than.
“Democracy started in Igbo land. The very first written constitution on this planet was written by the Igbo people. And the very first democracy that permitted women leaders was in Igbo land. I'm proud to have worked with the Igbo people”.

Someone who insulted me because I supported @PeterObi is getting married next month, he added me into his WhatsApp group where people will contribute money for his wedding and I know he’s expecting something huge from me.
I will surely disappoint him. 😎
