If you show frustration or anger through: sighing, giving the silent treatment, or making sarcastic comments—this is a passive aggressive communication style.
You might say “I’m fine” when asked if you’re upset.
Here’s why 🧵:
As an autistic person I've known for awhile that no matter what I learn about social norms, it's near impossible to apply in real time.
Real time moves too fast. By the time I've finished processing my "tone", I've committed several other offenses.
I feel that being autistic goes between being hyper suspicious and questioning every little detail, to completely taking at face value and believing all I’m told.
With no in between.
It’s a cruel irony One can be so rigorous in research and data yet so naive about a source itself
In Germany, teaching the Holocaust is mandatory. It includes visits to concentration camp, museums, etc. They don’t shy away from their own ugly history. Yet the kids aren’t damaged; they’re strengthened, matured, humbled. US needs to do same re slavery. Not that complicated.
@Phenomenal_Cat@Sweet_Sweet_TnT I am neither a boy or a girl. I am FEMALE, sure. But I’m agender (aka, neither). Gender does not equal your biological sex.
@STL_ie Yeah my grandma saw it on the news like half an hour to an hour before the robocall! She called me to tell me and I was like “I haven’t heard yet”
