@mxgreen954@RnaudBertrand Or we could have stuck with the uranium deal from the Obama administration, and stopped meddling in the middle east. That would have worked too.
@LocasaleLab There's a fairly clear road forward.
Shorten the season to 70 games with no back to backs. Opening night early October.
Re-order the lottery odds so that every lottery team has the same odds, and teams who don't make the playoffs eventually pay a heavy repeater tax
@TriciaDearborn And I end up having to tell them the same thing you said. See where this guy's foot just isn't there? I can't fix that. I can't give him a foot cuz that screws up this. I can't make his leg shorter cuz that screws up that. It's just not usable
@VaibhavSisinty He did have an encrypted radio, and he did use it to send a single message to the military. "God is good" to indicate he had survived.
The CIA used ghost murmer because there would be no way of tell if the radio signal was sent by him or by Iranians who found his equipment
@InfraThesis@MarioNawfal Here's my guess.
Iran saw what Israel did to Gaza, and assumed that's coming for them no matter what they do. So they decided to play a game of existential chicken with us, at a time when our President is a known caver with a short attention span.
@StealthQE4 It's past that. They're gonna continue on their path and win a war of attrition. That's why you don't pick fights with people who have nothing to lose. Ho Chi Minh is the blueprint.
@PawlowskiMario This is impossible. People gave you the actual definition, and you say "that's just the book definition".
Your experience with the USSR in Poland (understandably) traumatized you, and it's left you intellectually paralyzed. But you don't know it.
@kmbiamnozie I think most of them would definitely vote for him again. He damages the country, which upsets libs. That's all they care about, is upsetting libs. I really saw it clearly when he took away their health care. It made them sad, but they liked how much Dems hated it.
@misfitpatriot_ "The left" doesn't exist in American politics.
And no, in my experience, most Democrats don't believe all our problems will just magically go away when Trump is gone.
The problems Democrats worry most about existed before Trump, and will still exist after he's gone.
@StealthQE4 It's not entirely deliberate.
The main issue is that people voted for Donald Trump for President, and he's an incredibly stupid man with incredibly dumb, dangerous ideas. So he keeps enacting them, and it continues to degrade everything.
@yepsuzn@AnnCoulter I make bets with gay people, and I'll even make bets with Republicans.
But I don't make bets with gay Republicans. You risk your life every time you vote, I don't need to take your money on top of all that.
@GrindeOptions Maybe I can help your confusion. Maybe if Trump had made the case to Congress for why this was necessary, maybe it would have seemed necessary. Instead, it sure looks an awful lot like a diversion from the Epstein files.
