We had an amazing Maker City session with @alicegabb facilitating our young people to create activist banners at @kwmcthefactory. Together they used simple words and symbols to raise awareness of the changes they’d like to see in Knowle West. 💪🏾
Recently celebrated our first SoundWave Festival! Young people from SoundWave & SoundWave+ ran workshops, craft activities & facepainting alongside sharing podcasts they made & fantastic performances. Plus fresh pizza donated by @pizzarova + info on wellbeing from @otrbristol 🤩

In our Summer Maker City Holiday Club, the Young People made flags 🎏 and 🌀 whirly gigs for Knowle West Fest! Using a combination of digital fabrication skills at @kwmcthefactory we used, laser cutters, vinyl cutters and a heat press!

Due to the hazardous weather conditions today, we unfortunately have had to cancel the event held tonight for International Women's Day at Knowle West Media Centre.
The event will be held next Wednesday instead.

In celebration of International Women’s Day we are running an open mic and jam at Knowle West Media Centre !
Young people can come perform and we will also be showcasing the work created by local young people from our Sound Wave music sessions.
