Spot On! PCB should keep an eye on the production entities involved in such unsanctioned events, & involved should be banned from any direct/indirect work with PCB as in this case, this production entity is working for PCB on behalf of contractor at PCB for Category-F Domestic.

Any involvement in tournament will be considered a breach of PCB regulations and it holds the right to take due action against the participating players or officials. PCB also advises commercial and broadcast entities involved to reevaluate their association with tournament.

Dear @thePSLt20 fans,

The latest announcements on the Iran ceasefire and Pakistan’s pivotal role in it finally explain why crowds were not allowed in the stadiums this season.
Not hosting matches in Pindi makes complete sense — Islamabad was clearly the chosen venue for sensitive ceasefire discussions, and the unpredictable timing demanded absolute flexibility on logistics and security.

Similarly, allowing large crowds in other cities would have diverted critical security resources away from this far more important national and global mission. When forced to weigh entertainment against helping deliver global peace, I believe every Pakistani would have made the exact same call.

I know the phrase “in the name of national interest” is often misused, but this time it was genuinely justified — not just for Pakistan’s national interest, but for a greater regional and global one.

Also, comparisons with another league that has allowed fans, are simply not valid. That country’s neighbour isn’t under attack (like ours - Iran), nor is that country playing any meaningful role in the current high-stakes diplomatic efforts. So, sure they can have their fans while we Pakistan drives global peace.

Right now, our hearts should be fuller with pride in Pakistan’s leadership and its contribution to global peace, rather than disappointment over missing PSL crowds.

This is a trade every Pakistani should happily accept - in the past, now and at anytime going forward.

As a Punjabi Hindu, I truly respect and appreciate the celebration of Basant Panchami in West Punjab. However, there are a few important points we cannot ignore.
If you people believe Basant Panchami is a Punjabi festival — which is why you started celebrating it again after a 20-year ban — then why don’t you also celebrate other cultural festivals like Rakhdi, Vaisakhi, Karva Chauth, and similar ones?
Secondly, Basant is purely a Hindu festival. Since you rejected this, I am attaching proof that the word "Basant" comes from Sanskrit, and Hindus have traditionally celebrated it by worshiping Maa Saraswati. It’s perfectly fine if you cannot worship Maa Saraswati due to the constraints of your Arabic religion, but claiming that “this is not a Hindu festival” is simply not acceptable.

ICC announce star-studded commentary team and exciting broadcast innovations for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026

ICC TV is set to deliver another world-class immersive viewing experience for cricket fans around the globe at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. Alongside live coverage of every match, ICC TV will provide a comprehensive world feed service to licensees, ensuring consistent, high-quality coverage across all markets.

Viewers will have access to every match of the tournament through an extensive broadcast offering that includes a pre-match show, innings interval programme, post-match wrap-up and daily highlights shows capturing the full story of the competition, right from the opening fixture through to the final.

The tournament will be delivered by six dedicated production crews operating across the eight venues in India and Sri Lanka, supported by eight broadcast kits deploying up to 45 cameras to capture the action with depth, precision and editorial flexibility. ICC TV will collaborate closely with production services partner JioStar and equipment services partner NEP to bring the event to life.

In total, approximately 720 broadcast professionals will be involved in delivering the event, spanning production, technical operations, editorial, graphics, data and broadcast management roles. The broadcast workforce reflects the international nature of the tournament, bringing together expertise from more than 20 nationalities.

The Voices of the Game

An illustrious commentary panel featuring some of the game’s most celebrated voices will deliver expert insight and analysis, ensuring fans experience every moment of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in all its colour and intensity.

Renowned broadcasters Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop will headline the dynamic commentary team for this year’s tournament. They will be joined by Aaron Finch, who lifted the trophy in 2021, alongside other former ICC Men’s T20 World Cup winners, including Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa and Carlos Brathwaite.

Adding further gravitas are former ICC global event winners who know the thrill of lifting a World Cup – Eoin Morgan, Wasim Akram, Sunil Gavaskar, Matthew Hayden and Ramiz Raja. Other iconic voices from the game joining the panel include Dale Steyn, Michael Atherton, Waqar Younis, Simon Doull, Shaun Pollock and Katey Martin.

The commentary lineup in India and Sri Lanka is further strengthened by leading global broadcasters Harsha Bhogle, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Natalie Germanos, Danny Morrison, Alan Wilkins, Ian Ward, Mark Howard, Nick Knight, Athar Ali Khan, Kass Naidoo, Bazid Khan, Raunak Kapoor and Niall O’Brien.

Preston Mommsen and Andrew Leonard will provide invaluable additional insight from the Associate Members, while Russel Arnold and Roshan Abeysinghe will bring Sri Lanka’s unique flavour to the coverage.

Skillview focuses on moments of execution and decision-making, enhancing live analysis through precision-anchored virtual graphics that lock seamlessly to the field of play. Commentary-driven and instantly responsive, Skillview turns technique, athleticism and tactical intent into intuitive visual stories, helping fans better understand the skills that define elite T20 cricket.

The broadcast will feature other visual enhancements also designed to elevate analysis and enrich the viewing experience. Hawk-Eye will deliver off-bat tracking alongside full Decision Review System (DRS) services, including ball tracking and edge detection.
