I speak common sense and have a point of you of my own. I care about social causes and environment. Engage with books in spare time. Follow and play sports.
Today marks 30 years of my journey with Shaukat Khanum Hospital; a story of hope and generosity of our people. I joined some months after Lahore opened; saw its expansion, then Peshawar, now our 3rd in Karachi coming up. Best reward: Prayers from our patients. Forever grateful!
The Memon community, despite being just 0.2% of Pakistan’s population, contributes an estimated 15–20% to the country’s GDP, a staggering reflection of their work ethic, discipline and early grooming of children for success in business and key professions.
At a recent gathering I attended, senior community leaders shared an impressive, well-funded initiative: a focused push to prepare Memon youth for roles in policymaking and the civil service.
No child from their community, they vowed, would be denied higher education due to lack of resources. Where needed, they would even supplement family income to ensure children can study and aim high.
Such community-driven efforts deserve to be acknowledged and emulated. They show what vision, solidarity and investment in the next generation can achieve.
My man casually went out in shorts to vote, like any other common man😭♥️,who would believe this man is the coach of Indian cricket team.Simplicity at it's peak.
