Sometimes celebrities are likeable on a superficial level but don’t have the balls to say or do the things they should. Harry Redknapp has spoken out on the subject of immigration, the change in so many of our towns and in particular how Bournemouth has been ruined by mass migration. Can anyone deny that he is right. It probably won’t win him any friends in tv circles or get him many invites onto mainstream tv and he must know that, which is why it’s even better that he said it.

If you dare to even utter the words “replacement” or “replacement migration” you get labelled a loony, a conspiracy theorist or racist. Yet the ONS own data proves it’s absolutely true. A post by Matt Goodwin outlines insane population changes in many cities and what is clear is that long term inhabitants are leaving (or fleeing) yet being “replaced” by huge numbers of “international arrivals” that even allowing for the people leaving are increasing the population. If that is not replacement then I’m curious as to how else you would describe.

All of the big decisions are made in Westminster.

Devolution is theatre. Parliament remains sovereign and can override or abolish any local power with a simple majority. Whitehall holds the real authority; everything else is temporary permission that can be revoked whenever it suits.
