has it occurred to you that it sounds fucking insane to tell ukranians and those who support ukraine that you should just not tune into this sport bcs "its been dominated by them ever since"
fstwt gotta learn what misogyny is.. this sport and literally the entired world is deeply rooted in misogyny it’s a huge huge problem and we need to talk about it more but please stop using it as a gotcha argument in cases where it very clearly isn’t misogyny
@ISU_Figure Well thanks for confirming how little of a damn you give about Ukrainian skaters (many of who still train in Ukraine as it is being shelled). You've proven that all you care about is money even if it means allowing the entry of skaters openly endorsing Putin's war.
i have had multiple baltic skaters also messaging me super upset about the russian athletes being allowed back disguised as AIN’s. It’s to the point they’re switching up comps just so they wouldn’t have to compete alongside them. @ isu grow a fucking backbone.

Two things can be true at once, for example:
1- Young people in controlling countries/situations can't choose what they say therfore we should not judge them for it
2- Neutral athletes should be neutral and not say/post things that are clearly pro war (even if they are forced to)
Disappointed but not surprised to see @ISU_Figure break their own rules regarding neutral athletes by letting Elena Kostyleva, who has openly expressed pro-war sentiments on social media and attended Putin's inauguration, compete internationally. What's even the point of AINs?
