We had a discharge from our unit today. Mental health nurses here don’t just fulfill the normal duties required at the CCU, but making sure clients transition out to a safe & secure home through participating in the process of moving is also part of the scope @MHR5000818

We got to go out with some clients from our CCU into the city for a meal today. Activities like these help promote independence when they transition from the care of the CCU to re-entering society in the future. @mhr5000818

@Jessica5000818 @MHR5000818 Sorry to hear about your day Jess, we have a client who had an incident where he threatened staff and co clients with a steak knife recently. When questioned about the incident he couldn’t say why he did it. This shows that we should be kept on our toes at all times.
