Here's my conversation with Mark Zuckerberg, his 3rd time on the podcast, but this time we talked in the Metaverse as photorealistic avatars. This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. It really felt like we were talking in-person, but we were miles apart 🤯 It's hard to put into words how awesome this was for someone like me who values the intimacy of in-person conversation. It gave me a glimpse of an exciting future with many new possibilities and fascinating questions about the nature of reality and human connection ❤

@__apf__ Ditto. I received a very negative review on my last stay for not washing the towels before leaving. I'll be staying in hotels next time as well!
We’re developing AI for real-time speech translation to break down language barriers in the physical world and in the metaverse.

Great podcast where Mark debunks a lot of Social Media misconceptions and talks about how the future might look like. Would recommend listening: https://t.co/4coTeYwEEJ
@gem_ray If it makes you feel better, I had to read four gdocs yesterday, all had different fonts :(

It’s official:
Bolt is now the first tech unicorn to permanently switch to a 4 day work week 🚀⚡️🔥
Our 3 month experiment proved every core thesis:
Heightened
1/ Productivity
2/ Engagement
3/ Wellness
We’re never going back and here’s why 👇
Average daily steps by work/commute type:
- Work from home: 2,330 steps
- Office / car: 6,678 steps
- Office / shuttle: 10,284 steps
Yet another reason why working from an office is better for me.
Second day at the office and there's a big smile on my face. Here's a few advantages: ease of collaboration with team mates, lunch time conversations, clear work/life separation, not having to worry about food, the feeling of presence.
@Dragos FB spent more than $10B on these issues in the last years, has tens of thousands of people working on these issues, has built industry leading AI to take down hateful content. I agree there's room to do more, but these are hard problems that take time.
@Dragos The way we built features has changed a lot in the last 3 years: the amount of processes and reviews a project has to go through is crazy. This is all to make sure the privacy, safety and well being of users is at the core of what we build.
@Dragos I understand that it might be seen like that from the outside. From the inside, I myself launched features that had a negative business impact, but a positive impact on safety and well being.
