@theo_mackie I think he’ll end up the best of the class when its all said and done. Look at his tape. 2-3 reads, always sets his feet even when rolling out… first year starter and was given full ability to adjust calls at the line. He’s impressive.

Someone did a good breakdown here. Simpson is renowned for his defensive reads both pre and post snap. Alabama gave him authority for checks/audibles because of it. Can run (was the number two dual threat in his class coming out as a 5 star prospect), but usually stays in the pocket and almost ALWAYS sets his feet when rolling out. Gets to 2nd and 3rd reads ALL the time. Has a strong arm to make all the throws. Give me this dude. We will see how combine and interviews go. Give me the cerebral guy that ALSO has the arm and leg talent every day. Even more amazing if there’s a trade down opportunity. Or even getting an OT early and coming back up into the 1st if we need to. But I would really like to get this kid even if its at 3 just to make sure you get him.
