I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
@DuggyStand The tries and the medal will be what goes in the record books. For us it’s more about how he didn’t withdraw or try to change who he is. There’ll be more bad days ahead but yesterday is evidence he can draw on at the low points.
Leeds at home Friday….
@qrsupport@qatarairways what' point telling us to change a flight online if we can't. 1 of 2 legs (now cancelled) is greyed out and can't be changed. Waiting on phone for an hour for a human being i not acceptable. We're supposed to fly tomorrow. Poor crisis management.
A few years ago Wigan fans never bothered to tweet about Leigh as we were irrelevant to them (we were) now it’s all they seem to tweet about, even on their buses now! I’ll take that as progress from Leigh in a short period. Losing all their trophies to Hull KR has hit them hard.
Well for all the criticism of Nigel and the executive the increase to 14 teams in SL has got off to a bang 💥
Well done to York, Bradford and Toulouse you have done the Championship proud in round one 👏👏👏
2 unsung hero’s who have been with us since the rebrand and I would always have in my 17, got themselves a meat pie each last night! Well done Jack Hughes and Matt Davis 👏👏👏
Wow. They've done it. The biggest result in Super League history to kick off its 30th year? York Knights have just beaten Treble-winners Hull KR 19-18 in their first-ever Super League game. Utterly superb. Great scenes.
come on you doom and gloomers, shouldnt be 14 teams , not enough players etc. Just remember Hull KR and Wigan voted against this last night. NEVER FORGET THAT
I couldn't respect Ibou Konate anymore than i do right now. Performing how he has done in the last few games after losing his dad...it must be the toughest thing ever. He was criticised heavily earlier on in the season so it is only right that he gets the praise he deserves.
