5/ Nexa Space is live right now.
https://t.co/gKtmEPFIqp
Still growing. Still being built.
But if you've ever wasted a trip on a property that looked nothing like the listing β this is for you.
RT if someone you know needs to see this. π
Somewhere in Lagos, someone is in traffic right now.
Heading to a property viewing.
For a place they already know β deep down β probably won't work.
That's the problem Nexa Space exists to solve π§΅
4/ I'm building this solo as a CS student and self-taught dev in Lagos.
Not a team. Not a funded startup.
Just a problem I couldn't stop thinking about and the skills to start doing something about it.

3/ Nexa Space puts a virtual tour on every listing.
You walk through the property β properly β before you book a visit.
You see the actual space. The layout. The light. The size.
Then you decide if it's worth the trip.
2/ The Nigerian property search experience in 2026:
β Find a listing online
β Photos look decent
β Call the agent
β Spend 2 hours in traffic
β Arrive
β It looks nothing like the photos
β Leave
Repeat until you find something.
This is considered normal. It shouldn't be.
7/ Your background is your origin story.
Not your ceiling.
Choose what matters. Go all in on that.
Everything else is noise.
RT the first tweet if this hit. Someone needs it today. π
Your background is not a barrier.
But your priorities will make or break you.
A thread on building from where you are β not where you wish you were. π§΅
5/ Choosing your priorities means accepting a trade:
Some things get less of you.
So the right things can get more.
That's not sacrifice. That's strategy.
4/ I study CS through distance learning in Nigeria.I taught myself to code for free online.
I'm building Nexa Space β a virtual-tour real estate marketplace for Lagos & Abuja β solo. From Lagos. With limited resources. On a used laptop. The background didn't change. The decision did
3/ Most people use background as a reason.
"I didn't go to the right school."
"I'm not in the right city."
"I don't know the right people."
All true. All irrelevant.
Background tells you where you started.
Priorities decide where you end up.
2/ I didn't go to a top university.
I don't live in a tech hub.
I had no connections, no mentor, no roadmap.
What I had was a priority:
Build something real. Start now. Figure it out.
I'm a CS student, self-taught dev, and building a real estate startup solo β all at the same time.Nexa Space(virtual-tour-first property marketplace for Lagos & Abuja) exists because of one decision:I started before I was ready. The "right time" is the most expensive lie we tell.
