Assessment. How I tested my understanding and built confidence before the real deal.
Reading is great, but that's only half the work. You have to test what you have been reading to know if you really understand. It is best to do this after you've finished a section.
1. Self-Check Your Understanding
After every topic, I'd ask myself:
“Can I explain this in simple terms?”
“Could I answer a question on this if it showed up in an exam?”
If the answer was no, I knew I hadn’t truly understood it yet.
2. Flashcards
SMWW’s flashcards were super helpful for testing and recall
I recommend making yours if you don’t have access to any.
This helped with definitions, article numbers, and quick concepts like:
“What happens in a breach of contract without just cause?”
“What is the minimum age for a minor’s contract?”
