The same Ghanaians who throw rubbish into gutters here will travel abroad and follow the rules not because their character suddenly changed. They follow the rules because the system there will punish them if they don’t. You can’t beg people to “behave properly” and call that governance. No serious country runs on begging.
MISSING CHILD ALERT: HELP US FIND 6-YEAR-OLD FATI
A family in Accra is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating 6-year-old Fati, who has been missing since Saturday, June 21, 2026.
Fati disappeared from Nima 441, Alaska, Accra, directly in front of her family home under circumstances that have left her loved ones devastated.
According to her guardian, Aisha, Fati was with her mother, who sells eggs in front of their home, when it began to drizzle. Fati had gotten slightly wet, and her mother asked her to go inside the house to change into dry clothes. The house was only a few steps away, and she was expected to return immediately so they could go out to get something to eat.
A few minutes later, as the rain intensified, family members moved indoors and called for Fati, only to discover that she had vanished. Despite extensive searches and reports made to the police, community leaders, and other relevant authorities, there has been no trace of her.
The family now fears that Fati may have been abducted and is pleading with the public to assist in any way possible.
Anyone with information about Fati's whereabouts, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is urged to contact:

A reward of GH₵5,000 is being offered for credible information that leads to Fati's safe return.
The family is also appealing to television and radio stations, bloggers, journalists, influencers, and the general public to help share Fati's story widely.
Please help bring Fati home safely.
My colleague @CalebKudah is truly a remarkable man
He met this young lady hawking in traffic while covering a story. He was touched about her plight
He did a story about the girl, managed to secure scholarship for her, followed her journey closely and today she’s an #Ashesigrad
The madness in this country feels beyond repair.
How does something like this happen in broad daylight in Wassa Akropong?
In an environment like this, how do you expect these kids to concentrate and study?

The Shawshank Redemption flopped in theaters, $16 million worldwide on a $25 million budget, opening weekend just $727,000 in 1994, it disappeared almost immediately.
It lost all seven Oscar nominations to Forrest Gump, no awards, no box office, the studio labeled it a failure and the director walked away devastated.
Then something quiet started happening, VHS rentals, cable reruns, someone watching it alone on a Tuesday night and calling a friend the next morning.
People who watched it told their friends, their friends told more people, it spread slowly, one recommendation at a time, no marketing push just genuine word of mouth.
By 2008 it reached number one on IMDb, the audience voted it the greatest film ever made and it has stayed there ever since.
It took 14 years to get there, a box office bomb turned into the highest rated film in history, built entirely by viewers long after the studio had already moved on.
One of the scenes that impressed me the most in cinema is this scene.
The result of 20 years of perseverance of a prisoner. It symbolizes hope and patience.
