@semiconductored @richardzussman I mean pretty much all worker protections are unattractive to multinational employers. That's not a good reason to let them mistreat workers. As for the ranges being too large, that's the sort of thing where you can refine the rules over time as problems arise.
@yacobg42 I look forward to your hypnotic and slightly disturbing video on the subject. And no I didn't have nightmares about brain-swapping monkeys anyone who says I did is lying.
Who are these guys talking to that they think all women (of course forgetting some women don't want a man at all) only want a tall millionaire who looks like Chris Hemsworth? Literally all women. In those words. Sir have you ever met an anime fan?
@julayneelle I do know how racialized kids are taken from loving families while abusive white families are left alone, so that solution is obvious. And all the usual stuff about proper support for families. And not letting for profit businesses manage this kind of stuff.
@julayneelle Genuine question I'd like to hear adoptees' opinions on: do you have a preference for how to care for children who can't be with their birth families? Particularly since adoption is often suggested for people being forced to birth children they don't want. (Cont)
@robintran04 Lazy enby here. Am I a man some days? Hell yes. Am I gonna bind or get surgery? Uuugh that sounds like work. I still haven't even built up a masc wardrobe. But I still know who and what I am.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein Yeah...it's pretty clear you don't have a point. So good job you radical skeptic you. Thanks for the opportunity to explain in public why your arguments aren't worth taking seriously. Have a wonderful day.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein But we aren't talking about life in the abstract. We're talking about living people with the base assumption that people who are alive should generally be allowed and assisted to stay that way. Without that basis, engaging with you is a waste of time.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein Entirely aside from the question of when life begins (technically all the sperm that didn't make it were also alive) and when an embryo becomes a human with rights, my right to my own organs comes first.
@damonradel@tammy_keck@TiffanyReneeRox@ananavarro Ok, but they are pregnant. However it happened, it happened. The choices are baby or abortion, not baby or go back in time and avoid getting pregnant. This statement is meaningless.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein You asked how to discourage eugenics while maintaining reproductive rights. Here are my suggestions. Pretty self-explanatory.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein Especially BIPOC neurodivergent people. That's what I came up with off the top of my head. I bet I can find some more.
@epigonias@Dottyellip @dirtsquirrel2 @KarLeia@RolliFraeulein More positive and nuanced representation of disabled people in media, better education in general, more room in discourse for those directly affected by these ideas, universal basic income, communities of mutual aid, keeping police the fuck away from neurodivergent people...
