🎙️ MORGAN ROGERS ON HIS "ICE COLD" CELEBRATION
Maybe now you'll be seeing two ice-cold celebrations in the same Chelsea team. ❄️💙
It's amazing for me. It's nothing too deep, it's just a normal celebration. I know people say Cole Palmer started it first, but for me it happened naturally.
I remember scoring against Chelsea and one of my mates came up to me and said, 'That's a cold goal.' I just thought, 'Yeah... that's cold,' and I started doing the celebration.
Now it's funny because I'm going to be playing alongside Cole at Chelsea. He's an amazing player. I've known him for a long time from our Manchester City academy days and with England U19s. It'll be great to share the pitch with him again.
There might never have been Cristiano Ronaldo without this man. ( Albert Fantrau)
Cristiano Ronaldo and his childhood friend, Albert Fantrau, were playing in a youth match while scouts from Sporting CP watched. The scouts reportedly announced that the player who scored the most goals would earn a place in the academy. With the score at 2–0, Albert dribbled past the goalkeeper and had an open net. Instead of scoring, he passed the ball to Ronaldo, who tapped it in. Ronaldo was chosen for the academy. When Ronaldo later asked why he passed the ball, Albert allegedly replied, "Because you're better than me."
According to the story, Albert's football career ended there, while Ronaldo became one of the greatest footballers in history. It also claims Ronaldo never forgot his friend's sacrifice and later helped him financially by buying him a house and supporting his family.
No wonder Garnacho was left out of the Argentina squad. 😭
The moment he saw Messi coming to sit down, he immediately tried to take over the seat.
I’ve never seen such an awkward moment between Messi and a player.

🚨🔵 Morgan Rogers to Chelsea, here we go...
Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Aston Villa for the signing of Morgan Rogers in a deal worth £117m.
📝 Personal terms are agreed on a six-year contract, with a medical scheduled before the move is completed.
Chelsea have beaten Arsenal to the England international, with Xabi Alonso playing a key role in convincing Rogers to join the Blues. 👀
🚨New: Ian wright on Morgan Rogers £117m (€138m) move to Chelsea which makes him the 5th-most expensive signing in football HISTORY:
🗣️ “Morgan Rogers is a top talent, but Chelsea throwing £117m at him? It’s classic Chelsea, panic buying to keep up with Arsenal. They’ll ruin another young English player with their circus.”
“He’s not even proven at that level. Arsenal walked away wisely. This is just Boehly’s ego project again. If Arsenal stepped away, maybe they believed the valuation didn’t make football sense. Chelsea looked at the price tag and somehow saw a bargain.”
“£117m makes him 5th most expensive ever? For a lad who admitted he wasn’t worth it? Chelsea fans, enjoy the regret when he flops like so many before him.”
Now the pressure is enormous. At £117 million, you’re not judged like a young prospect, you have to perform like one of the best players on the planet from day one. If it doesn’t click immediately, Stamford Bridge won’t be talking about potential; they’ll be talking about another expensive lesson.”

🚨 Chelsea's £50m sale of Andrey Santos is already looking like smart business.
Despite the hype around his Manchester United debut, Santos failed to register a goal or assist against Championship opposition and never truly took control of the game as many expected.
BlueCo saw the opportunity to cash in at the right time, and right now that decision looks fully justified.
BlueCo receive plenty of criticism for some of their signings, but not enough credit for their player sales. Selling Noni Madueke for £50m, who has yet to justify that price tag with his performances at Arsenal, and now moving a fourth-choice midfielder like for another £50m is excellent business.
👀 £50m for potential rather than proven quality — good business from Chelsea?

🚨🏴 🔴 Rio Ferdinand on Manchester United after the preseason defeat to Wrexham
🗣️ "I don't care if it's preseason, a friendly, or a cup game Manchester United have to start developing a winning mentality. This club has gone 13 years without a Premier League title. Enough is enough."
"We keep talking about the glory days, but history doesn't win you trophies. What Sir Alex Ferguson achieved was incredible, but this generation has to create its own legacy instead of constantly living off his."
"Every season it's the same excuses. 'we're rebuilding,' 'we need more time,' 'next year will be different.' Manchester United shouldn't accept that. The standards at this football club are far higher."
"The players, the manager, the boards and everyone behind the scenes have to understand the responsibility that comes with wearing this badge."
"It's time to stop looking back and start giving the fans new memories. Next season has to be about competing for the Premier League title. That's the expectation at Manchester United, and it's about time this club started acting like it again."🎙️
🚨 Didier Drogba on Chelsea hijacking Morgan Rogers from Arsenal: "This is NOT another Mudryk situation."
🗣️ "When I first heard Chelsea were trying to hijack Morgan Rogers from Arsenal, I immediately thought about the Mudryk deal. Arsenal wanted him, Chelsea paid a huge fee, and unfortunately it didn't work out the way everyone expected."
🗣️"But this feels different. Morgan Rogers has made his own decision. and he chose Chelsea over Arsenal—a club playing Champions League football—it tells me he's coming because he believes in the project and wants to prove himself."
🗣️ "Mudryk always looked like a player whose first choice was Arsenal before the transfer changed. Rogers looks like someone ready to embrace Chelsea from day one. That mentality matters."
🗣️ "Now the pressure is on him. Chelsea fans won't judge the transfer fee because Chelsea is a bigger club than Arsenal—they'll judge the performances. If he's chosen Chelsea over Arsenal, he has to show he's ready to become one of the leaders of this new generation.
