@nathanwe6 That is expected, the CR diff on Academy Ruins doesn't show changes to examples (or other things that aren't actual rules such as glossary entries). Thank you for the report! 🙂
@WotC_Matt @Dunkatog@Wizards_Help Thanks for the confirmation! Out of curiosity, is the plan to fix that in the near-ish future, or will we have to live with it until the next scheduled update?
Hello Mr. @Dunkatog, hello Mr. @WotC_Matt, hello folks at @Wizards_Help! The CR that was just released has both Offspring and Impending listed under 702.175. Could someone look into that please?
@Dunkatog@JohnSchnee20 @WotC_Matt Just to clarify some discussions I had on this theme, 608.2(b/h) only really talk about effects (113.7a and 800.4a aren't applicable here). Does something specify that LKI can be used by a trigger condition? Cause when read literally, the trigger condition doesn't match otherwise
@sk00gle @Dunkatog @Kyleometers I don't think that necessarily applies here. For one thing, only the trigger condition cares about something being milled, and that's explicitly not an effect.
@JimmySlipOut@Dunkatog Huh! Turns out I was confusing this with another situation and 603.12a probably does in fact indicate that this would cause multiple reflexive triggers. Apologies!
@nadojo1 @Dunkatog Not @Dunkatog, but Ygra's second ability only affects creatures on the battlefield, not cards in any other zones. It won't make your creature spells into artifact spells. (See rule 109.2 for reference)
@Wizards_Help Just FYI, looks like someone did a data entry oopsie in the latest rules update and the TXT version of the CR on https://t.co/yAwRYCsRuC now links to an invalid URL (due to a missing forward slash after 'downloads')
@WotC_Matt @dunkatog Hello Mr. editor man, Mr. rules man, I have a question. Why is Lethal Throwdown's additional cost formatted the way it is, instead of just checking if the creature was modified on resolution? Is it so you can decline the card draw, or are there other reasons?

I haven't played WoW in years, but this Folding Ideas video about the social contracts developed in it and how they affect gameplay was supremely engaging.
Academy Ruins API v0.6.0 was just released! No major changes this time, though users of the glossary search should beware of a change in behavior. https://t.co/9kFA41eLg4
@RyJensen30@incorrect_mtg If you need any more encouragement, I was pretty much in the exact same boat, only really following the major plot points and not reading the story for years, and I've had an absolute blast getting back into it with this storyline.
@KazistrasZ Agree with this being an Arena bug. Phasing out doesn't make the Bat leave the battlefield (702.26d), so the event specified in the "until" clause hasn't happened yet and 610.3b does not apply here. You should still get to take a card.
@caioo08@wizards_magic@Dunkatog@maro254 I'm not either of those people, but I'm interested to hear why you think this wording is unnecessarily complicated? The formatting on the Case cards seems both flavorful and fairly straightforward to me.
@ISweetPotatoI@Dunkatog@MrMervius I'd say because trying to interleave different events is not supported by the rules. You either do the events simultaneously, or in APNAP. "Can we do some part of the event simultaneously in a way that, when combined, looks like the whole event?" is not a question the CR asks.
@WotC_Matt @Dunkatog The last four CR updates (LCI, WHO, WOE, LTR) all came without a corresponding update bulletin. Was that some random happenstance, or are the bulletins going away for good? (I won't even mention all the old ones that are still inaccessible after over a year)
@WotC_Matt @Dunkatog Somewhat bizarrely, Commander Masters did get an update bulletin, but didn't get a CR update -- the changes discussed there were only published with the release of WOE
