@elonmusk Yes, but haven’t decided yet if it’s a good thing. I accidentally paused briefly on a random video of someone popping a little tiny black head & now have dozens of videos daily of people squeezing goopy play-doh out of huge gnarly holes.
Usually fight, but yesterday was unfortunately flight. 3yo neighbor kid was at my spigot spraying water on my porch & in my front door. Ran out & asked him to turn it off. He’s 3. Pointed nozzle at me. Fell backwards trying not to get soaked, falling over bike, picnic table & flat on my back in kiddie pool. Pride & back hurt equally bad.
@HenryFrank02 I haven’t. Building solid indictments takes time. It’s not like the legal shows or CSI show on TV where everything is solved & prosecuted in an hour. Investigations that end with solid convictions take a lot of time & man hours.
@DefiantLs I agree. As republicans we denounce it when the dems do it. Trump ran his campaign on draining the swamp. We must be held to a higher standard.
My husband is a mayor and a state delegate. Prior to his running for office & especially during his campaign & definitely while he holds office, I am extremely circumspect when it comes to what I say or like on any social media platform. I also keep my identity somewhat vague just in general so I don’t reflect badly on him. I am entitled to my own opinions, but I am mindful of his position & his political aspirations.
She got too big for her chaps. She had amazing ascension in less than 10 years & was a breakout star during COVID. I had high hopes when she was first appointed, but I had concerns with her lack of any type of LEO background. I had hoped she would surround herself with really good people & she would have the leadership skills needed. Hopefully she will in this new role. As you said, Trump knows what he’s doing, & usually he’s playing chess while others are playing a bad game of Chutes & Ladders.
I used to work for an agency that DHS oversaw. I was a bit skeptical of her appointment as I did not think a 1 term governor would have what it takes to oversee multi LEO type agencies. I had hoped she would surround herself with great people who had the knowledge & she would provide the leadership. I think she got too big for her chaps.
@reno_viseman@NancyMace My dad was stationed at 29 Palms. Coming back from Palm Spgs on CA-62 he swerved to miss a dog. I fell out of the cab of the truck. Broke several bones, major road rash & 9 mos in the hospital. Happened in 1970.
@atrupar I feel like a schmuck. It’s just a club & we ain’t in it. This administration was supposed to drain the swamp & stop gross waste. They’re laughing at us & they all break bread together & send the expense bill to us.
My mom’s meatloaf was horrible. Once when I objected to it, she told me I could have a bowl of fresh grass clippings or shut up & eat meatloaf. I came to table with bowl of grass topped with dressing & croutons. I ate the grass. She never made me eat her meatloaf again. I make a meatloaf in my cafe that is so good that it was written up in a state tourist guide. I’ve never tasted it. Guests tell me it’s fantastic.
@NM5WRLD I own a small 20 room motel. I do 20 loads of sheets daily. I freaking hate fitted sheets. Someday when I sell the biz, I’m going to toss my fitted sheet weekly & only buy new ones. It’s a promise I’ve made to myself. I can’t like ur post enough or hate fitted sheets more.
Yes. I had to go put someone’s trash cans on the curb once after they called 911..they weren’t old or disabled..they had forgotten & didn’t want to get out of bed in the middle of the night..something about being a public servant and they pay my salary & they were personal friend of Chief Jimmy.
@ChefGruel I have a cafe & I use Idaho potatoes for our home fries. I cut them 1/4. Fry in tallow. We also offer a thinner frozen French fry for to-go orders cuz the home fries don’t hold up well in a container if you are taking it home to eat & have a ways to go.
@RNN_RoyalNews She reminds me of the neighbor, Gladys Kravitz, from 1960’s show Bewitched that was always peering out her window at the Steven’s family.
