JUST A GUY PROJECTS

I’m Matt. I care for community cats in the High Desert, explore weird places, chase paranormal stories, and try to build useful things instead of just complaining about what is broken.

A lot of this page is cats. I help with food, water, monitoring, trapping connections, transport, emergency outreach and whatever else I can realistically do when one needs help. I’m not a rescue or nonprofit. I’m just one guy trying to show up consistently.

The other side of this account is paranormal stuff, desert history, abandoned places, night drives and the occasional “what the hell was that?” moment.

Just A Guy Projects is really the bigger idea behind all of it. I want to build things in public, learn as I go, help where I can and document what is actually happening instead of pretending everything is polished.

No fake nonprofit act. No pretending I have it all figured out. Just cats, strange desert nights and an attempt to build something worthwhile.

@elonmusk Im going to be honest the algorithm is a joke. I can go out there on a rescue mission and save three/ four cats and it gets shown to 8 people meanwhile some chick shows her butthole and get millions. There is nothing wrong with my content it’s just not being shown.

The little buddy I rescued from a wheel well at U-Haul has been doing well with his fosters. Unfortunately, I was never able to get the sibling after the manager 86'd me off the lot. It was in the wheel well; I showed him, and he said he didn’t care and to get off the lot.

Welp got jerked around for 8 weeks, two interview rounds and a facility tour still got a denied the job a few hours after going.

Labor day cat tax. This little buddy l rescued just a few days ago. He was dumped along with his sibling at my colony.
Unfortunately, his sibling was not rescued as I was 86d off the property by U-Haul management during the rescue attempt as he was in their trucks wheel well.
