If you come across a sheep lying on its back with its legs up, it is 'cast'. Please be so kind as to tip/roll it back over; if left like this they can die as they cannot get up. Please be kind enough to share.

Astonishing.
Since @TEDTalks posted my talk about 'What Happens As We Die?' to their home page yesterday, it's already clocked up 15k views.
People DO want better information - so please pass it on.
I'm delighted that TED has chosen to spread this idea. https://t.co/U34ngpR5sp
Went to a London funfair today where they give every child a wristband with the parent’s contact details in case they get lost. It’s the best simplest idea I’ve seen in years. Like, duh!!! 💡 💡💡 Why doesn’t this happen at every theme park/ zoo/ soft play centre?!

A person with Parkinson's disease can't walk because of severe freezing but put him on a bike and he is fine. Great case by Snijders and @basbloem Love the explanation: 'This striking kinesia paradoxica may be explained by the bicycle's rotating pedals, which may act as an external pacing cue. Alternatively, the motor-control mechanisms involved in gait as compared with other activities engaging the legs, such as cycling, could be affected differentially in Parkinson's disease. Cycling may offer a useful approach for exercise training in patients with Parkinson's who are “grounded” by severe freezing of gait.' https://t.co/fq5oe2oodu https://t.co/fq3jiDgUBC
One photo shows a single, solitary ancient sycamore tree destroyed in an act of eco vandalism that has rightly caused outrage.
The other photo shows one of 108 ancient, native woodlands destroyed to make way for HS2.
Can we get as angry about this too?
