@GeniusAdmn @GRiZN4STY I know they lifted the restriction in MG so we can check in passing batteries, but I meant about when it was appropriate to charge for the battery or not.
@GeniusAdmn @GRiZN4STY When the new price came out in retailme the article aligned with this on the website, they could request the battery but we would only cover the 29 if the battery failed, it was changed recently so that it’s free regardless as long as it’s in warranty.

I’m actually really excited to be on the floor today, two hours of carpal tunnel inducing screw turning and 4 hours of getting yelled at over things that aren’t my fault. Wait, why am I happy about today?
Down to approx 7-11 min per battery (8-12 with new screws 🤫) got 7 done in my first hour, compared to the Genius who only got thru 2 this morning I think I’m doing ok. Glad I’m here to cover the slack, again.
@blkstick We answer all calls (internal) dispair room, and refer to it as the batt room on floor and downloads. Had a cool little Batman symbol colored like a Duracell with an logo but visuals took it down xD

So we were told to let the batteries default the the current warranty status, regardless of diagnostics, they told me our whole market decided to do that. Anyone else covering batteries for no reason now?
@diagsindicate @GeniusAdmn We had a 10 sitting in the back yesterday for a new battery. I almost lost it. Thanks Xerox (confirmed the call was to an outsourced Xerox employee) why can’t AppleCare just be Apple employees?
