A Plea for Sungrown Weed
I’m tired of “weed professionals” claiming quality cannabis must be grown indoors.
Must apples be grown inside? Are potatoes inferior for growing in dirt? Does your brewery charge more for beer from indoor hops? Are you Icarus, challenging the sun with LED lights? Watch those wax wings.

What we need is balance:
more minor cannabinoids and robust terpenes (plus the flavonoids and cannaflavins they signal). All of that thrives in weed grown the way nature intended outside.

A 2023 study compared identical strains from the same mother plant, one indoor and one outdoor. The outdoor flowers were stickier, far more pungent, richer in unusual cannabinoids, and heavier in sesquiterpenes like caryophyllene and humulene.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
