Again, the events on the 6th of June were to commemorate the D Day landings. No women went ashore that day. Many brave women died during ww2, but none on D Day.
@GaryHaynes1201@Keir_Starmer You really think it was a passing contest, don't you? The majority of troops who landed on D Day weren't American. That is just historical fact. Trying to get bragging rights for yourself for something you, or I, had no part in is, quite frankly, pathetic.
@GaryHaynes1201@Keir_Starmer Did you read it? Did you miss where he said British and allied forces? I'm no fan of Starmer but try reading a history book. 54,000 American 61,000 British and 21,000 Canadian troops landed on D Day. Every one was a hero.
