@jimmyyadig Its somewhere around 380 per 2k payment for average taxes unless you make a lot and usually get taxed more. So if you keep like 380-390 you can still put the rest up.
@aaronsaloman@SOCANmusic@CdnHeritage You're still able to apply all the way up until october when the CERB benefit ends. This was designed so that people who do receive small earnings or arent laid off immediately can still get the full benefit. You can reapply afterward for sure.
@RPAT75@cbcErica The news is more than aware of the backlog that exists in the cra for ei applications. This is because they arent basing ei applications off of the honour system like they're with CERB. They are completely flooded with ei applications and transferring them all to cerb asap.
@KamGonzales7@CanRevAgency Yeah you will be automatically transferred to cerb until the 4 months are up and then you can go back to ei. You still have to fill out your reports if you want to keep getting money even on cerb though.
@ceeque84 @DatVonGuy @ESDC_GC@CanRevAgency Its just a matter of them processing your claim after theirs. You'll get it soon. The holiday slowed things down a little.
@RPAT75 Its because ei is still having to process each case individually and there are a ton of them. Wheres cerb is being paid before they check whether anyone qualifies or not.
@dmcknight4_e@Dizzycaper2 You either go online to the cra website, or, if you dont have a cra account, call the number they have dedicated specifically for applying for cerb at 18009592019.
@dmcknight4_e@Dizzycaper2 You can apply this week, same as before the days fo by birthday. Jan-mar monday, april-june Tuesday, jul-sept wednesday, oct-dec thursday. Friday-sunday anyone can apply. Make sure to select this period that ends in May.
@dmnhogue@JustinTrudeau Im sorry to hear about that truly! Try to hang on, this is more of a fault in the banks than the government as the banks were closed Friday and Monday so nothing was being processed. Hopefully you get it today or tomorrow.
@deanne_chavez Its 3 business days. Friday and Monday were not business days for banks. That means that if Thursday is counted, Thursday or Friday is when to expect it.
