@mssakshinarula I HATE people who have no idea of circumstance, but still feel it appropriate to put their 2c worth in to tell you what they would do in that situation. Empathy is walking a mile in someones shoes without tieing the laces. Not tieing them tight and walking for you.
@hamishcarton I was thinking of dedicating it to Celtic from next season. A meal from each players nationality, asking fans who the want me to honor next week. Just a way to make fans feel a part of the club at home.
@hamishcarton Loving whay you are doung with
67 hail hail. Wonderinging if we can have a chat. I have an idea for my own channel, but want to bounce if first.
@hamishcarton So the idea of the channel I want to do is called "Spicy Football" where I cook a dish from a side competing in the world cup..What you would serve to celebrate the game you are about to watch with mates so to speak. I just dunno if it would have appeal.
@hamishcarton I was just wondering if their is a magazine style highlights program each week dedicated to the SPFL?
If not, why not?
Not saying that I could do it, because I don't thing it would be received well in Scotland with a show hosted by a guy with an aussie accent.
I know that we, as creatives, find inspiration everywhere. I cannot believe that no one has made something from this image. BTW, the other person is Peter Norman, an Aussie. The 2 protesters we pallbearers at his funeral. #WritingCommunity
I have maybe a newbie question. Is it uncouth to reference something from popular culture in a novel, even if it has context to the story? #WritingCommunity
@phil_nr_hauser @kaneblaise There are 2. The first is Iron Maiden’s “Run to the hills.” As one MC tries to indicate it is possible to line dance to any song ever recorded. The other is “I’ll follow you into the dark.” at the end of the book.
@ShannonAtDAWV A young woman is trying to keep the memories of her husband alive after he is involved in a near fatal MVA, while trying to deal with the guilt of not being in the car that night.
A wise person once told me…
“The knock backs never stop, and they don’t hurt any less. You just need to work out how thick your skin is.” #WritingCommunity
@kfoxx_writes I would have to say plot first. I am about to start a few chapters where my MC becomes quite passive/aggressive. It has taken a few days to build up to it.
