@MikeStrawMedia When you think about it, it’s exactly what the NBA wants.
Poster Child Wemby becomes the league villain, up against arguably the league’s most beloved team, the Knicks.
What better way to drive controversy and get people to talk and watch.
So prior to this, gambling was the absolute no-no.
How on earth can the NCAA enforce anything at this point? This is so far past the “Wild Wild West”.
No accountability at all for anyone’s actions.
A surprise: Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby has been granted the injunction he requested by a judge in District Court in Lubbock County, Texas, per @PeteThamel.
Sorsby is now expected to be eligible for the 2026 college football season and will not have to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft.
@MySportsUpdate Probably going to take a new CBA to get this movement to stop, with language that caps the amount of games. Players will fight for that.
At this point the league DOES NOT NEED GROWTH. Already the most popular by far, other that futbol for other countries.
Brett Kulak wins it after Kaprizov can't connect with Boldy on a 2-on-1.
Wild blow 3-goal lead to lose a playoff game for first time ever and their season ends in humiliating fashion
@wildfan19@RussoHockey He had a 20x better look with control of the puck. Can’t believe he passed it. Of course then the other way Avs score. Wild completely blew this game.
If this is how the Spurs are going to be officiated tonight, you may as well skip the games and advance them to play OKC.
Gobert being inside the arc and getting a Flagrant 1 is absurd.
Sources: The NCAA has initiated the final steps to expand the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments to 76 teams. The expansion is on track to be formalized in the upcoming weeks, with mid-May as the target. The 76-team tournaments begin next year. https://t.co/2ZGUjZR0uJ
@ElThickerino@WillRagatz Agreed. After the crap with Danielle Hunter wanting a new deal every season, I can see how the team would want to move off a player not willing to honor their commitment.

A few guys succeeded years ago, but seems lately guys haven’t faired quite as well.
Really seems to come down to big fish/small pond or vice versa preference.
I’ll be curious how the new era of player empowerment actually affects their careers in the long term, longevity wise.
The Summit League sure is fun when some stars elevate to another level come March.
Makes me think of some MBB guys to leave for bigger teams with a mixed bag of results individually:
Tre’Shawn Thurman
D Jenkins Jr
M. Mooney
G. Nelson
B. Scheierman
Z. Mayo
F. Fidler
T. Eaglestaff
@JNelly43 I know regions don’t seem to matter for conferences nowadays but at some point rivalries need to be prioritized.
The dakotas and Montana schools should be the founding schools of a Great West type conference.
$17 Million to go play in the MWC is a very steep price, and risky.
@MySportsUpdate@Schultz_Report It’s already been happening but this should almost guarantee that teams don’t pay bonuses/ write language in contracts to players who get to the pro bowl.
@MySportsUpdate Can’t imagine any team even tries to acquire him. The way he quit on a team that actually could have used him tells you all you need to know about his character and ambition to play in the league again
@wingoz Agree. Also need people like Greg Olsen to pump the brakes on their infatuation with going for it and trying to get everyone to agree with him… citing the field position reasoning is beyond dumb.
