Skype seems to have fixed itself for now. Last few days it's been ok on an older version of skype. Really not a fan of latest update...that's where the problems always seem to start.

Yes I restart the device. Still eats up the IMs. I've checked service status everytime and always says normal. 90% of time I use desktop Skype. I have a Macbook Pro 2015 model but use Windows Operating System. https://t.co/mPBeEpTftM

@SkypeSupport had the problem but it's doing it too. I even tried logging in on another user name and it worked whilst the other wasn't. But now even it is having the problem. I can be chatting no problem for half an hour or hour then suddenly chat just stops. Words get eaten up.

@SkypeSupport My other issue is I'll be in middle of messaging and it will say they've gone offline but they wont and they'll send a msg to me but they won't be getting my msg. I thought this was just with latest update but i reverted back to older version and this doing it too.
