Mason Weaver threw a shutout, going 6IP w/ 9Ks, & was backed by great defense! Goskowicz (3 RBI) & Weaver (2 RBI) had 3 hits. Tuttle (RBI), Bradford (2 RBI), & Riha (2B) each added 2 hits. Goode (RBI), Yoder, and Minnick all added a hit. Fuchs/Pequignot/Sosebee each scored runs.

The Spartans defeated Columbia City tonight in the sectional quarterfinal 5-0. Mason Weaver threw a 78 pitch, no-hit shutout, striking out 16 batters! Goskowicz was 3-3, 2 SB, Tuttle was 2-4, Minnick 2-3, Bradford and Graber added extra base hits, and Neiswonger added a RBI 1B!

Varsity defeated Blackhawk Christian 10-1. Luke Riha (6 IP, 9 Ks) and Luke Neiswonger combined to throw a no-hitter! Alex Graber added 3 hits, Bryce Yoder and Hunter Waugh each had 2 hits, and Tuttle/Weaver/Minnick/Goskowicz/Sosebee each added a hit to the cause.
