I stayed up late trying on clothes I already own and I didn't prepare and I failed

You can’t tell young people they can change the world and not expect them to try.

@claudeshields @gopeacembb @Showtime_Vince @Showtime_Vince trusted us when we sold him on our dream for Peace and he made a giant mark on the WPU campus and program. The lesson I learned recruiting Jalen was don't sit next to the 71st cheerleaders unless you want your seat bouncing up and down all game.

“...if Thomas Jefferson matters, so does Sally Hemings..if D-Day matters, so does Black Wall Street...the question really is not whether we’ll be tied to the somethings of our past, but whether we are courageous enough to be tied to the whole of them.”

Today a customer mentioned that she could get a new hardcover book online for $15. Our mission is not to shame anyone for their shopping practices, but we do feel a responsibility to educate about what it means when a new hardcover is available for $15 online.

6/ Duke’s decision to kill the light rail project sadly reinforces the worst fears of many Durham residents — that Duke University is an arrogant and elitist enclave with little interest in being the kind of partner this city needs.

Police in Milton, West Virginia responded to complaints this week of two raccoons that appeared to be rabid. The investigation showed the little fella pictured here and his pal were drunk on fermented crabapples. Treated and released... into the woods.

When planting a garden one must first ready the ground. We are doing that work. It’s slow and can be grueling. But the harvest will be worth the wait. #WeAintDone

I wrote about Anthony Flaccavento, the Democratic candidate in Virginia's 9th district, last month. According to Open Secrets, he's now raised $817,405; in 2012, he raised $450,092 over the duration of his entire campaign https://t.co/q8z2riYRQb

You should be angry. You must not be bitter. Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host...So use that anger. You write it. You paint it. You dance it. You march it. You vote it. You do everything about it. You talk it. Never stop talking it.

The year is 2051 and the final brick is laid. Durham is now one apartment building owned by Amazon. Pod Save America plays over loudspeakers. The brewerycourt floor is overrun by goldendoodles. Somehow, Moogfest is year-round. The nets prevent me from jumping off the roof. https://t.co/NtMDMYhXQs
