@Pijinnn_ So am I. But this divisive, toxic agenda is being amplified and led by the likes of @PaulTassi. There is no accurate, unbiased reporting going on at all, other than by: https://t.co/erKHlUgqxk Bungie and the people who worked there, and remain, deserve so much better.
@PaulTassi@Forbes Will you ever offer an unbiased and accurate analysis as to why Bungie is in this position. How Marathon didn't kill Destiny or Bungie. How it was never an either/or. And how the D2 community complained for years about the game?
@MaxNordau@DavidDeutschOxf This is no different in principle from claiming the 7 October atrocities never happened. When overwhelming evidence from survivors, journalists, medical staff and international organisations contradicts your narrative, your answer is simply “they all lied”. This is moral rot.
@Aztecross If Marathon fails, the irony is that the people campaigning for Destiny 3 will end up making a sequel less likely, not more likely. If Bungie can't successfully launch a major new title, Sony's unlikely to become more enthusiastic about handing it hundreds of millions to build D3
@PaulTassi@JakeParkerLIVE Would've been a joint strategic decision with Sony having ultimate authority. Likely because Destiny's growth had plateaued, Bungie had already spent years trying to extend Destiny 2, and Sony decided it made more financial sense to invest in a new IP than another Destiny cycle.
@PaulTassi@Forbes More riveting insights from Tassi here. I haven’t read the article but let me guess that it says something about Destiny, even though the title says it’s about Marathon. But it won’t be. It’ll be about Destiny
@KonstantinKisin No. Not angry that he’s a trillionaire. Just saddened that such an evil man with such an ugly soul has such an influence on the world.
@Clever_name07@PaulTassi@Forbes You’re missing the point. The issue isn’t Marathon. It’s journalism. If you’re actively participating in a campaign, shaping sentiment and amplifying outrage, you’re part of the story. Pretending you’re merely reporting on the outcome is where my criticism comes from.
@JoeyMannarinoUS A charming diatribe on ‘authentic culture’ from the US — home of hamburgers (German), apple pie (Dutch), hot dogs (Austrian), tacos (Mexican), bagels (Polish), coffee (Middle Eastern) and jazz (African). But nothing says ‘authentic America’ quite like school shootings, does it.
