Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers reportedly had a text thread competing to pull over the most Black drivers, while using racial slurs in discussions about force against Black residents. More than half a dozen officers have reportedly been recommended for termination or quit.
A badge should NEVER be a license for discrimination! These allegations call into question traffic stops and use-of-force incidents involving these officers!
These are some of the most controversial statements said in the newly unsealed Brian Flores memo made for the Raiders.
"Needs someone strong at the top to reign in some of his worst behavior."
"He once threatened violence to his GM and made irrational demands during an ownership meeting."
"One long-time senior team executive said, 'He may have changed since, but he was the worst hiring decision we've ever made.' Another President of a club refused to talk about him."
"He was able to build a strong friendship with a billionaire's son which gave him opportunities to socialize and learn how to build relationships with white-collar and upper-class individuals."
"Has little people skills, lacks self-awareness and can sometimes exhibit erratic behavior."

In one week ive Seen Chris Rock admit to refusing hiring a lawyer for his friends innocent brother. So he served 19 years. Also saw Savannah James brag about her making her best friend ride budget while she rides 1st class (same plane). But yes Black Capitalism will save us.
We live in a capitalist world..and in the way you’re trying to spin it..Kap was the one who truly capitalized..respectfully. Kap wasn’t playing well..and he was clearly bothered when Gabbert became the starting QB. The whole kneeling controversy shifted the focus..and Kap rode that wave..presenting himself as an activist while..in my opinion..leading people who are genuinely struggling down the wrong path for selfish reasons..
I don’t believe Kap would have taken a knee if he had been the starting QB. If the Niners was on the way to the Super Bowl that year..the protest would be much easier to understand. But when I hear that he “lost his whole career” because of it, I think that’s a stretch. Every athlete has their day…

This AI slop is what McClatchy forced a bunch of its newspapers to publish in unison a few weeks ago. Who needs real human reporters when you can have this?
NEW: in May, I obtained a press release from a South Bronx charter school promoting its partnership with Colin Kaepernick and Lumi, his AI startup that lets kids generate full comic books with text prompts.
The press release shared high school student assignments, ostensibly examples of the product's best work, littered with the kinds of buggy pictures and hallucinations common to genAI.
So I started digging. I learned about Kaepernick's sales pitch to superintendents and school officials across the country and how the football star turned founder promotes his venture as an extension of his activism.
I also spoke to artists and art educators who work within the same populations of Black and brown kids Kap wants to reach.
It's my first dispatch on the growing intersection of athletes investing their wealth into emerging AI tech, and it's impact on schools.
and yes, issa new [eyeblack]

"George Bush doesn't care about black people"
"Do you guys find it amazing in any way that Kaepernick, when he was the quarterback, that kneeling before the flag is something that gets you blackballed before Deshaun Watson ends up getting blackballed?" - Dan Le Batard on the Browns starting QB
