@SussexCCC Why not play the out of form players in the second team match? Its not working and we just “go again”. Mills isnt a captain in my eyes. Hughes started the slide with a dreadful shot. Say what you like about finances etc - this comp has been on the players. Sort it out lads!

@GeorgeDowell Totally agree George. Ruined the game for me. I appreciate there is going to be bad language and banter but the chants about TNT, Starmer etc were just not needed. They should have been getting behind the team and players. Not a good look for the club.

@domhowson He is more than that. He typifies the WAWAW mantra. Heartbeat of the club, whilst he remains there is a hope for the fans that “blue skies are ahead”…. When he goes (and sadly I do think he will in coming days) that hope will fade. An amazing, loyal, professional human being!

@SussexCCC I am sorry but you cannot keep playing under performing players. Our captain has been poor the entire tournament and tonight he got the toss wrong. We wont be making the 1/4 finals and supporters rightly miffed given the squad we have.

@footballheaven @robstaton @robstaton I am a Bannan lover but he hasnt been fit this season and is being out paced in the middle of the park - fact. I would also question his leadership. Where you are right is that we are so poor out wide and in final third. We will be OK though as Rohl is a good manager.

@legsidelizzy Its terrible isnt it Lizzy. 40 over comp on a Sunday got me into cricket. Should be Weds - Sat Championship, Sun 40 over and a block of Blast in June / July. Yet we move everything for a competition that doesnt resemble Cricket! ECB at its finest!

We look down. Players knackered and walking about. Bannan clearly not fit. Defensively weak from set plays and our own - my nan could cross it better! Rohl needs to change it - fresh legs if nothing else. Results going against us. #swfc

@swfc #swfc Why did you let people wait for the players to arrive yesterday only for them all (Save Patto and Vaulks) to walk straight in with no acknowledgement? Kids idolise those players and many fans had not only paid their hard earned cash but also travelled many miles.

Did I just see Sussex players smiling and laughing at the end of the that game? Shambolic. Wrong team, played like strangers and that was a total hammering. We need to get a grip and quickly.

Agree you can lay a lot at Moore’s door but players today bottled it and then panicked. Johnson didn’t make one tackle, Dawson was dreadful, Bakinson and Brown….. wow! Players don’t look bothered as showed at the end. How have we bombed out like this. #swfc
